AutoMindr is a car maintenance reminder/minder service with a social game aspect focusing on younger drivers with little knowledge of cars and car maintenance best practices. AutoMindr seeks to train and empower novice users to carry better car maintenance practices. Our hope is that AutoMindr will help to de-marginalize users and empower them to keep their car in better shape. These practices, such as timely oil changes, tire checks/rotations, fluid changes, filter replacements, and so on have been linked with better fuel mileage, car longevity and fewer accidents. Healthy cars make for a healthier wallet, environment and drivers.
While this service is intended to help a specific demographic of young people at the lower end of the income scale, this service would help anyone that wishes to practice better car maintenance habits.
